Fresh Installation not working

mattk
I've tried 3 times installing WiKID Community on CentOS v6.5 and just can't get it running.  Every time I hit the same wall.  Everything appears to install fine, but the TimeCop service won't start and even though ports 8- and 443 are open and there are no firewalls turned on, I can't connect to the admin page.  I following the tutorial https://www.wikidsystems.com/support/wikid-support-center/installation-how-tos/how-to-install-the-wikid-community-edition-3.x and followed the troubleshooting FAQ, but I'm still stuck at the same wall.

What's consistent is when I run the following command...
/opt/WiKID/conf/templates/wikid-firstboot.sh

I receive the following output...
psql:/opt/WiKID/conf/database/db-data.sql:64: ERROR:  relation "db_version" does not exist
LINE 1: update db_version set version=19;

What the heck am I doing wrong?  This is driving me nuts.

32-bit CentOS 6.5 fully up to date.

wikid-server-community-3.5.0.b1544-1.noarch.rpm  and wikid-utilities-3.4.2-1.i386.rpm used for installation

Is your browser having issues with the self-signed cert?

Re: Fresh Installation not working

Not that I've ever couldn't over come.  It's acting like a firewall is install or blocking me, but I completely disabled SELinux.  I can SSH to my CentOS installation, but telnet tests to port 80 and 443 never connect and timeout.

What does 'iptables -L -n' show?

Re: Fresh Installation not working

Thank you.  That was the perfect response.  I forgot all about iptables.  Rather then updating the chains, I stopped it with service iptables stop

After that I re-ran /opt/WiKID/conf/templates/wikid-firstboot.sh and it did produce the error:
psql:/opt/WiKID/conf/database/db-data.sql:64: ERROR:  relation "db_version" does not exist
LINE 1: update db_version set version=19;

However, I rebooted the server, stopped iptables again and ran 'wikidctl start'

That did produce another error (below) but I was able to access the WebUI.
[root@wikid01 ~]# wikidctl start
Starting database...Success!
Success!
Applying cumulative schema updates...chown: cannot access `/opt/WiKID/log/*.pid': No such file or directory
cat: /opt/WiKID/log/*.pid: No such file or directory
Success!
Starting Logger service...Success!
Starting TimeCop service...Success!
Starting Tomcat server ...Success!

I'm sure I'll run in to another issue, but at least I can move forward!

I think you can ignore those errors.

Let me know how it goes!
